Craftbuild 3D Help Center & User Guide
Learn how to plan, design, and export 3D Minecraft builds directly in your browser.
What is Craftbuild 3D?
Craftbuild 3D is a free, browser-based 3D voxel editor and structure planner for Minecraft players, builders and server admins. You design builds block by block with real Minecraft textures, then rebuild them in your world using layer-by-layer blueprints and automatic material lists.
No download
Runs in any modern browser — no install, no account.
Lightweight 3D viewer
A fast WebGL (Three.js) editor with orbit, zoom and pan.
Real-time block counting
The material list updates as you place each block.
Layer-by-layer view
Show one layer at a time to rebuild in survival.
Key features
3D voxel editing
Place and remove hundreds of Minecraft blocks — stone, wood, glass, stairs, slabs, rails, doors, signs, redstone and more — with simple mouse and keyboard controls. Press R to rotate blocks, and undo or redo any change.
Layer-by-layer build guide
Step through your structure one layer at a time so you always know which blocks go where when rebuilding in survival mode.
Resource & block calculator
Get the exact count of every block your project needs — how many stone bricks, glass blocks or oak planks — for the whole build and for each layer.
Import & export
Import .schem, .schematic and .litematic files from WorldEdit and Litematica. Export to JSON, Sponge .schem or .litematic with block IDs, rotations and states kept.
Redstone test mode
Switch to Test mode to flip levers, press buttons and open doors, with Minecraft-accurate dust, repeaters, comparators, pistons and observers.
Water, lava & gravity
Water and lava flow like in the game, and sand, gravel and armor stands fall when gravity is on.
Getting started, step by step

Browse or search the block list on the left and click a block to select it.
- 3
Step 3: Build and edit
Left-click a surface to place the selected block, Shift-click to erase it, and press R to turn directional blocks. Undo and redo are in the top toolbar.
- 4
Step 4: Use the layer view
Use the layer controls under the 3D view to show your build one layer at a time while you rebuild it in survival.
- 5
Step 5: Export materials and blueprints
Check the material list on the right for the whole build or the current layer, then export your build as .schem, .litematic or JSON from the toolbar.
